In July, the hills turn brilliant shades of green and gold, and the long summer days give us extended golden hours both morning and evening. We'll rise early and stay out late to catch dramatic light from iconic high points like Steptoe Butte, and we'll spend time exploring back roads for hidden compositions — abstract patterns in the fields, forgotten farm equipment, and the quiet texture of small-town life that most visitors never see.
