6-Day / 7-Night Workshop $2,995*
Meet and greet at the TBD hotel at 7pm on July 19, 2026.
The workshop ends the night of July 24, 2026
Join me this July as we explore the untamed beauty of Newfoundland, Canada’s easternmost province. This 5-day workshop will focus on capturing the rugged coastline, dramatic cliffs, historic fishing villages, and the vibrant natural and cultural life of the island during the height of summer.
From colorful row houses in St. John’s to the towering fjords of Gros Morne National Park, this journey offers a rich blend of landscapes and experiences. July is prime time for whale watching and puffin spotting—iconic subjects for wildlife photographers. Long daylight hours and the chance of magical twilight skies provide ample opportunity for golden hour and blue hour shooting.
We'll photograph:
Dramatic coastal cliffs and crashing waves
Picturesque fishing villages
Puffins, whales, and other wildlife
Lighthouses, harbors, and local life
Transportation within Newfoundland is included. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels and focuses on landscape, seascape, wildlife, and cultural photography. We’ll emphasize the art of visual storytelling—seeing deeply, composing with intent, and working with ever-changing Atlantic light.
