I love photographing birds, but personally, I don't have the attention span or patience to find these birds in the wild and wait for that perfect moment. This workshop will bring the birds to you. The entire display area is built for photographing birds. Mowed paths lead to ponds and natural perches of dead trees, stumps and branches. Fall trees provide an excellent background for photos.

Since the birds are raised from eggs, they are well trained and comfortable around people. The birds are raised for movies and outreach demonstrations, but we will be on their home turf. Some birds will be on static display, some will fly from perches, some will catch treats in the air, and the bald eagle will fly across the pond, wings nearly glancing the water's surface. You will get shots that will be amazing.

After arriving in the early afternoon, we will photograph birds of prey in in a 2 hour session in the afternoon of day 1 and a second 2 hour session the morning of day 2.
