The Finger Lakes region of New York is overflowing with natural beauty—waterfalls, glacial lakes, and sweeping scenic vistas. Based in Ithaca, we’ll explore some of the area’s most iconic locations, including:
Watkins Glen State Park, home to 19 stunning waterfalls tucked into a dramatic gorge,
Letchworth State Park, often called the “Grand Canyon of the East,” and
Taughannock Falls State Park, featuring the tallest free-falling waterfall east of the Rockies at 215 feet.
Photographic opportunities will be abundant. Be sure to bring your neutral density and polarizer filters as we focus on creating compelling long-exposure waterfall images in a variety of lighting conditions. Transportation from Ithaca will be provided.

- Students will be responsible for arranging and purchasing travel to and from the workshop.
- Students are responsible for reserving and paying for their own accommodations for this workshop.
- Transportation will be provided during the workshop.
