This two-day workshop will bookend city touring around the center piece of the American Independence Day fireworks show over the Ohio River and Point State Park. We will be located on an awesome viewpoint high over the river with a clear view of the fireworks barges with the skyline as a backdrop. On the 4th, we will focus on the best settings for fireworks photos as well as the advanced technique of 'focus pulled' fireworks. We will arrive a few hours early to get the best location, so bring a chair and your favorite drinks to chat about photography. 

On Friday night we will photograph light trails, which will be good practice for Saturday's celebratory finale. 

On Sunday, we will reconvene and photograph the mixture of new and old architecture of the city in downtown Pittsburgh, ending the day with a night shoot of lights and cityscapes. To get around the city, we will be self driving or using public transportation.
