4-Day / 5-Night Workshop $1600*
Meet and greet at the Triple D Wildlife Ranch at 8am January 16, 2027.
The workshop ends the night of January 19, 2027.
This immersive wildlife photography workshop is built around one goal: giving you real access to exceptional subjects, in settings and conditions chosen to help you come home with your strongest work yet. Over four days, you'll take part in eight professionally guided photography sessions, each planned to balance variety of subject matter with the quality of the setting and light.
Rather than following a fixed script, the species featured in each session are selected based on current conditions — optimal photographic light, animal activity and availability, and weather — so that every session gives you the best realistic opportunity for compelling images.
One session is built around a larger, headline species. Depending on availability and conditions, this will be one of the following:
Snow Leopard
Wolf Interaction
Mountain Lion
The remaining sessions focus on a rotating selection of smaller species, drawn from a list that includes:
Arctic Fox, Red Fox, Gray Fox, Cross Fox, and Silver Fox
Canada Lynx and Eurasian Lynx
Tundra Wolf and Arctic Wolf
Bobcat and Coyote
Porcupine, Badger, River Otter, and Pine Marten
Shooting sessions take place across three primary days, typically with three sessions scheduled per day depending on weather, light, and animal activity. A fourth day is built into the workshop as a weather contingency, to help protect the overall experience if conditions require rescheduling. If that day isn't needed for a makeup session, it opens up as an opportunity for additional photography, offered at $175 per person, per session.
Evenings are yours to shape. After each day's sessions wrap up, you're welcome to join an optional image-processing demonstration, or simply spend the time exploring the landscape and wildlife around the Kalispell area on your own.
The experience doesn't end when the workshop does. A few weeks afterward, we'll gather for a "reunion" Zoom session to look back through images together, offer thoughtful critique, and revisit the compositional and post-processing techniques covered during the workshop.
Whether your goal is to strengthen your wildlife portfolio or simply to experience the reward of photographing animals in their natural environment, this four-day workshop is designed to give you the access, guidance, and inspiration to move your photography forward.
